Italian filmmaker and photographer currently residing in France. She studied Arts, Music and Theatre in Florence where she started to work as a video editor for many different movies and documentaries. Drawn by her passion for music she have collaborated with many rock bands realizing music videos and reportages. Her video "One Hard man" for Carla Bozulich has been screened in several international festivals.
She moved in Paris in 2009 where she started her personal research on B&W analog photography on the theme of intimacy. In 2015 she co-founded Gazzarra!, a self-publishing house focused on photography and she had her first solo exhibition at Jitterbug Gallery in Paris. Her photobook "J'. Crime Obscene do not cross" has been selected at many festivals and her series "Despite me and you" has been screened several times around the world. In 2016 she directed "Instrument" an official music video for acclaimed canadian band SUUNS (Secretly Canadian), selected at Roma Videoclip Festival. During the lockdown 2020/2021 she co-created the project Missive Selvatiche, 2200 hand-packaged letters containing three art objects, (by 150 different artists) delivered by hand in random selected mailboxes along many Italian cities, an act of artistic activism and a gift during this lockdown-ish period.
